CORNWALL – ENGLAND
A few weeks ago together with some of our favourite couples here in the UK we rented two caravans (by a company I do NOT recommend to ANYONE: Motorholme) and traveled to Cornwall, the south-west coast of the UK. It was a refreshing, tiring, energising, exhausting and cheerful trip – contradictory but, yes, all at the same time. We were terribly freezing while enjoying the gorgeous view at the coast, listened to the waves breaking loudly, inhaled the fresh air, baked bread on a stick at the open fire we surrounded doing our best to snatch a little bit of warmth, barbequed, hiked along the coast paths, climbed on top of rocks and cliffs and, on top of all, simply enjoyed not having a phone or internet connection, not being reachable: being away for real. Breathing for real.
